The memorial hall of the Huangpu Military Academy former site, located in Guangzhou's Changzhou Island, Huangpu District, reopened on June 16 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Huangpu Military Academy.
The Huangpu (Whampoa) Military Academy, born out of the first cooperation between the Chinese Kuomintang (KMT) and the CPC, stood as the first academy cultivating military officers for the Chinese revolution.
